2007 Ramos Pinto Ervamoira

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Ramos Pinto. Deep red, 95% opaque. Closed on the nose, showing very little. Restrained entry, slow to develop but shows plenty of fruit and tannins in the mid-palate. More power and less elegance than the Ramos Pinto 2007 shown alonside this, and has a lovely pepperiness to the fruit. Very lively finish. 90/100. Drunk on 24 April 2013 at the BFT.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
