1998 Quinta do Noval Silval

Mid red, opaque. Stink on the nose. Soft and sweet entry, but a touch of the bottle stink. Shows surprisingly tannic making it less approachable than most other 1998s. Hot aftertaste. 84/100. Tasted at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
