Red in colour, 90% opaque. Hollow on the nose but on the palate this has sweet fruit with a good density of blackcurrant. Sweet black cherries on the finish and a gentle persistence. 85/100. Drunk 24 April 2013 at the 2007 LBV post BFT offline.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
