2007 Marks and Spencer LBV

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Dark red and opaque, a little murky. Little on the nose, just some mint. Soft and fruity on entry, quite dense flavour with plenty of fruit and pronounced tannins. Lond and persistent finish. Dense and flavoursome. 85/100. Drunk 24 April 2013 at the 2007 LBV post BFT offline.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
