2007 Taylor LBV

Dark red and opaque. No nose. Sweet fruit on the palate, good density of strawberry fruit, soft and sweet with gentle chalky tannins. Tobacco infused aftertaste, gently spicy then strawberry jam and a good length. Simple, straightforward and pleasant. 86/100. Drunk 24 April 2013 at the 2007 LBV post BFT offline.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
