Fantastic nose of sweet strawberry meadows - so fresh that it is hard to believe this has been corked up for over 50 years. To taste this is just delightfully mature port. 93

Lightly coloured, mature red with a rose rim; 50% opaque. Alcoholic nose, fruit a touch dirty. Sweet entry, lots of caramel with a little red fruit - sweet but peppery. Lovely balance, slightly hot. Hot aftertaste, sticky on the earthy finish then a long finish full of gentle rosemary. Long, length. Very good port. Served blind this was guessed to be Taylor 1963. 93/100. Drunk 04-Jun-13. Decanted 14 hours.

S60. Brick-red, 50% opaque. My brief note said only ‟Tannins; lovely structure.”
