Eleven regulars gathered in a crowded Bung Hole to give Mr Doty a break from Wimbledon, in the form of a 1966 horizontal. It’s a hard life.

T66. Underneath the corkedness was big red fruit. Early in the evening, drinkable, still with pleasure.

Fruit underneath the cork taint, but this did not improve. My adoptee, my apologies.

Complexity of flavors and aromas of white choc, orange peel, clove, sour cherry, cinnamon stick, sliced almonds, and marzipan (which speaks to the corked aspect - happens)

Dark red, mature appearance; 50% opaque. Very slight TCA on the nose. Sweet; nice texture - quite thick - but flattened by the TCA. NR.
