1964 Quinta do Noval Colheita

From a tasting of Noval Colhieta from 1937 to 1986 in the Noval shop in VNG on 30 Sep 07 - see review here

Initial taste of oranges and burnt sugar. Thinish mouthfeel bt a very long finish which ended up slightly bitter. 2nd note from later in the day says dark and very smooth.

I placed this wine 2nd out of the 7 tasted,
"The first duty of Port is to be red"
