NV Graham Tawny 20YO (bottled 2012)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2012. Light orange colour, 20% opaque. Served very cold and so showing little on the nose. Rich mouthfeel on entry with candied orange peel and marzipan on the palate but also a lovely balancing acidity. The richness comes through on the aftertaste, full of the slight bitterness of Seville orange peel. This is a big step up from the 10 year old. 89/100. Pop 'n' pour. 4 Sep 2013.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
