1972 Quinta de la Rosa

This was not issued as QdlR, but is the port that was made from its grapes; the cork reads Sandeman.

Light orange in colour, pale and translucent. Looks older than its years (as many of us from '72 do).
Nose: cedar and cinnamon.
In the mouth, initial heat, dryness, some dried fruit and a very pleasant finish. All in all a good drinking port - not spectacular but certainly very drinkable.
