Heavy on black fruits immediately, in the nose. Not much else finds its way forward.
The mouth is light and dry.
I found tasting a few Quevedos together (see the 07 and 11 notes) that there was a consistent herby freshness that I found very appealing, combined with a good overall dryness. I wondered to myself whether this was the famed Sousão grape that gives such colour and mintiness to Vesuvio. Oscar..? Any clues?
