Rusty brown colour, 30% opaque. Gentle coffee on the nose together with some dirty fruit. Medium bodied with a gentle soft texture. Lovely brown sugar fruit, accompanied by brown sugar fruit, coffee and crème brulee. Soft and elegant, a really lovely palate. Fragrant aftertaste with lots of aniseed and a tremendous length that finishes with a pile of mace infused fruit. Really persistent, This is lovely, elegant port. 92/100. Drunk 25-Sep-13. Decanted 4½ hours

GB70, decanted 3pm. Brick red, 30% opaque. Fuller than the
T70. Soft, sweet, great balance and texture. Very lovely. Delicious.
I hesitated about whether to give first place to this or
G70 magnum. But that was a lonely opinion. I don’t believe that I am usual biased in favour of my own port was this bias? Hmmm: hard to know.

Smells like coffee and grass. Tasted of spices, not really jammy but nevertheless tasty port
