With Andy Velebil visiting from California, it would have been rude not to. So we did, in The Bung Hole, on Tuesday 8th October 2013.

Cá35. Very mucky presentation, orange-brown and cloudy. Nose lightly madeirised. But the taste had heat, citrus, and a honey, somewhere between a runny and a set honey. Thank you Tom.

Very murky, with a slight yellow edge to the rim. Gentle toffee on the nose, nicely spiced like mulled wine. Soft toffee and honey on the palate, with a very pleasant range of flavours. Gentle cinder-toffee finish with good acidity. Plenty of sweeteness and sugar. Nice and refined. 86/100.
