Thursday 31st October 2013, at The Bung Hole, with a vague non-theme of ‟All Hallows’ Eve: Remember the Dead (Blinded and Decorated)”.

Borges VVV. Cloudy brown. Nose stinky. Obviously wood aged.

Later, others showed more enthusiasm.

Did the wine improve with time, or was it the Port tasting equivalent of beer goggles that made it appear more attractive to some?

If I recall correctly, which for the same goggle reason might not be so, some others had ab initio enthusiasm.
