F83. Bright red, 20% opaque. Light. Lightly acidic. Drinkable. Others thought more highly of this.

45% opaque, light red with brown. It smelled of twig. In the mouth, watery and not pleasant.

Mid-red, rose rim with some bricking present; 50% opaque. Little on the nose, some red apple and toffee. Satin texture entry, with dry tannins before some burnt sugar and red apple shows through. More burnt sugar on the mid- to late-palate, accompanied by more apple fruit and acidity - elegant and gentle. Soft aftertaste with a pleasant finish of modest volume. Pleasant current drinking, but not up to Fonseca's usual lofty standard. 85/100.
