After a few amazing dry wines in the line up, my bro and friend agreed to taste something special to end on a sweet note. We had at first no intention to drink it completly but it went down faster than the other wines that night!

Decanted and consumed as it was not planned. I was surprise by the heavy sediments in it. The wine is showing a deep ruby/purple color but not opaque with ruby/garnet color on the rim. The nose is huge! You know how much I love violets and this was full of it. Intense and fresh, ripe and soft tannins with ripe field berries, floral, licorice and some tobacco, it smells so good it seems to heal you Smile Again the palate is so fresh and balance, not a blockbuster but great concentration and purity here with again that floral, licorice, ripe field berries flavours. The finish is long dominated by floral/cacao flavours. No presence of alcool, just seems like a sweet 12% wine. It reminds a lot of the Taylor 1992 tasted in spring 2006. Easily 19/20 and with no doubts this cuvée will keep coming in my cellar, hey 3 bottles for the price of 1 Nacional Cool

I often have talks with my friend cellaring a few of my bottles. He keeps asking me "what will you do with Magnums of Port Fred, you'll never have the opportunity to open or you'll never be enough to drink them". Well this night, he asked me "Why did you not buy any Magnums of these, it would have be great tonight!"
