1998 Fonseca Guimaraens Panascal

Post by AW77 »

cork totally crumbled, D+0h: smells intensely of blackberry, quite a lot of deposit in my tea filter, D+5h: dark as ink, on the rim slightly purple, smells of eucalyptus and violets, not that sweet, tastes of raspberry and violets, full-bodied, a pleasant acidity in the mouth, raspberry in the aftertaste, quite a long finish (at least 20 seconds), the violet-aroma is not as strong as in the Taylor's Vargellas 2001 I tasted recently, quite a good and pleasant port, 90 P.
