1991 Quinta do Crasto LBV
1991 Quinta do Crasto LBV
bottled 1995, D+0h: hardly any deposit in the filter or the bottle, smells of sweet dried prune, D+5h: light cherryred, 60 % opaque, at first the port was too cold and only smelled of eucalyptus and tasted of strawberry, when it got warmer it smelled of sweet dried prune with a little eucalyptus in the background, light-bodied, not really sweet, more half-dry, raisins in the mouth, in the aftertaste there is a nice acidity, once swallowed, a nice raisin aftertaste lingers on the palate, quite a long finish (at least 35 seconds), quite a good LBV, 90 P.
