Rose coloured, mature but looking lively; 20% opaque. Showing little on the nose, but what it does show comes across as attractive fruit. The palate holds some sweet fruit balanced by some cranberry acidity. Delivering good concentration on the palate, this builds layer upon layer to reach good levels, always with a nice thickness to the texture. There is a bit of heat on the aftertaste and lots of white pepper on the very long, fruit-driven finish. Nicely mature port. 92/100. Drunk at the BBR Port Walk on 28 November 2013.
