People gathered in the Bung Hole to do the obvious. There was a chance of being joined by a newbie, to sample his TV64, but he was a no-show.

Ex-Imperial College stock. Deep red, a rich burgundy in colour; 80% opaque. Attractive nose of cranberries sweetedn with brown sugar and rose-hips. Balanced and poised entry, with lots of birch-wood giving a tang to the sharp cranberry fruit; with the soft tannins giving a gentle bite and a lovely structure. Really nice palate. There is a lovely fruit driven aftertaste followed by a huge finish of sharp grapefruit and brown sugar of long length that lingers for a good while. Very nice port. 88/100. Decanted 24 hours.
