A standard oxidised nose, not that exciting, but light and fresh. Mouth is not dull and wood, nor too heavy, but gives fruit, still, albeit quite light. Dryness on the tongue at the finish, but not great length.

Bottled in February 2014: quite light in colour, smells of leather and tobacco, is younger in the mouth than in the nose, quite a pleasant acidity, tastes younger than some 40 Year Tawnies, a really great Colheita, my wine of the Essencia.
