2001 Niepoort Colheita
I was asked to organise a Port tasting by the Northern Ireland Wine & Spirits Institute, and decided that it would be worthwhile to taste some wood-aged categories that are harder to find in Ireland. Re: 2001 Niepoort Colheita
25% opacity, golden brown. Big fruit and sweetness, caramel and vanilla. Nice entry, quick to heat and short finish. Not so much sweetness and a little acidity in the finish.
