30% opacity, rusty brown red, very good legs. Nose was spirituous. Soft, smooth entry then quickly quite sharp mid palate with a bitter finish. Some sweetness in there, but not a lot.

Cr66. dark red, 70% opaque. Plum nose. Pre-dinner, “Just like Port, only more so”. Mid weight, very smooth. After food a slight bitterness showed.

A deep ochre, brown with a hint of ruby. Didn't think this was any near 70% as JDAW suggests. On the nose, jellied fruit, a little herby with orange. Soft wood. Entry in the mouth dry, tannins were followed by heat on the tongue. A very interesting finish, juice and spice at the very end.

This was dry and spicy. Lovely.

Brick red, 20% opaque. Attractive nose with concentrated orange but also a lovely freshness to it. Lovely balance on entry, well concentrated and with generous fruit. Medium-bodied, floral and elegant with a lovely coffee component. Still some dry tannins in the core. Lovely elegance and balance. Coffee finish, gentle but with some bitterness and dryness on the finish. Rather tasty. 87/100. Decanted 5 hours.
