Open on the nose, a surprising contrast to the Taylor. A distinct Fonseca grassiness on the nose and a slight harshness to the fruit. A fabulous texture, smooth and cool like new cotton sheets. Powerful tannins dominate the palate but with sweet lush fruit trying to break through. A big chewy aftertaste full of the tannins and fruitA fabulous port with so much promise. 95/100.
