Brick red and evolved apeparance; 80% opaque. Sharp stewed nose with lots of rubber bands, but the bottle had just been opened. Blanced entry, gentle acidity with dry tannins. Mature and pleasant fruit sweetened with brown sugar but surprisingly light and thin at first. Patience in the glass and n the palate is rewarded as the wine develops a lovely delicacy of fruit that is surprising in a Taylor port. Coffee and dried fruit on the finish, full of lingering milk chocolate - and lots of green grass! 90/100. Drunk 14-May-14
