Pale copper-red in colour, 15% opaque. Smelly nose, full of red cabbage - even a bit sulphurous. Soft and hollow on entry, showing very little. Later on the palate there is soft, sweet fruit with well balanced acidity. The finish is floral. This is a restrained, lightweight port that is elegant in style but without but substance. 83/100. Drunk 23-Apr-14.
