Bottled in 2012. From Alves de Sousa. Deep red, a solid magenta; opaque. Delightful nose of sweet, ripe blueberries. Soft and fruity impact; tannins gentle and supporting the fruit. Lingering fruity finish. Lovely balance in an elegant style. 92/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
