From the LBV vertical. Bottled 2014. Deep purple with an opaque rim. Soft purple fruit on a subdued nose. Fabulous sweet fruit on entry, soft sweet blueberries accompanied by big tannins. This has good complexity on the palate and really nice fruit. The tannins dominate the aftertaste, with the fruit dominating the relatively short finish. 89/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.

90% opaque. This is a fat, blowsy juice, stewy in the nose, with toasted coconut flakes and a torrefied character, worty (like barley mashing to make beer). In the mouth, really heavy violet, massive tannins, with chocolate in the background.
