Deep red with a medium rim. Expressive nose, full of really attractive fruit. Sweet and fragrant fruit on the palate, then unbelieveable tannisn that just don't let go - wow! A big finish that goes on for ages but always remains well balanced. Fabulous. 93-95/100. 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
