2007 Quinta de la Rosa

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep inky red and opaque. Comes with an attractive fragrance, floral perfumes and passion fruit. The entry is modest, with restrained fruit but big tannins and searing acidity. The finish is hugely tannic but also has lots of fruit. This is a massive port that needs another decade or two. This is my best experience with this port to date. 94/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 BFT5.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
