450 cases produced; cask sample. Purple and youthful, opaque. Very gentle on the nose, soft and floral. Soft sweet fruit dominates the first impression on the palate with the acidity and soft tannins powering through on the mid-palate but the fruit drives the finish. Very attractive, with a lovely balance and minerality. 90/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
