A bottle purchased by Alan C in Portugal a few weeks ago. The small cork crumbs floating on the top of the wine were an interesting garnish

+24 Hours
No note taken so this bit is from memory. Nice weight and texture. Very dark and young looking. In terms of taste all I can really remember is a slightly overwhelming tannic dryness.

+48 Hours
Gorgeous. Nice weight, slightly chewy. Masses of big black fruits and still
retains some of that tanin. Lovely mouthwatering finish.

I think this is a wine with a great life ahead of it. If you have some of these I would suggest that you keep them and remain patient for a few years. This is a great wine waiting to happen.
