Cn58, originally θ = theta. Orange, 25% opaque. Nose had citrus, or maybe burnt orange. Palate lovely texture, oleaginous, marmalade — perhaps grapefruit marmalade, very long. Hence my WOTN.

Constantino 1858. brick/ brown colour, slightly turbid. Caramel and sweet notes on the nose. On the palate is round, not very long but quite nice. Colour oxidized and more on the Tawny side.

Slightly hazy, pale red colour; 25% opaque. Dusty cherry on the nose, some rosemary. And orange oil. Nice thickness to the texture; elegant and balanced body. Late palate brings rich, sweet fruit and still some hints of tannins. A lovely combination of power and elegance - citrus fruit sweetened with honey. The citrus runs through to the aftertaste and delicious palate. Served blind, this was guessed to be Fonseca Guimaraens. Theta. 86/100. Drunk 03-Jun-14. Decanted 3 hours.
