D58, originally η = eta. Red-pink, 35% opaque. Nose of cherry heat behind the burnt nose. Large start, with remnants of the fruit. Heat, lots, mid-palate. End was all heat.

Dow 1958. Light ruby colour. Smooth flavours reminding delicate red ripe fruit. Slightly harsh tannins, long finish but not perfectly integrated.

40% opaque; lovely mature red-brown colour. Hollow nose showing little other than some dusty spirit. Lovely elegant palate, generous fruit and a delicious balance. Rich fruit and good complexity on the late palate. Generous acidity supports a focused fruit driven aftertaste and finish. Great length. Served blind this was guessed to be the Noval. 88/100. Drunk 03-Jun-14. Decanted 3 hours.
