1963 Graham

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Thank you Henry Shotton! Ex-cellars, opened and decanted to share with guests at the Portuguese launch of the Graham Ne Oublie port. Mature red centre and a brick rim; 60% opaque. Spiced redcurrant jelly nose; rich, mature and attractive. Smooth and rounded palate, rich and flavoursome with intense flavours. Slightly thinner texture than the Graham 1955 drunk alongside. Wonderful long finish driven by the ripe and opulent fruit. Delicious port. 91/100. Drunk 25-Jun-14. Decanted 3 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
