By the glass from Vinum. Deep rose red with a touch of bricking; 80% opaque. Little on the nose at first but patience allows some bruised plum to develop. Lovely, gentle entry. Sweet but balanced fruit with an elegant acidity that combine to give tasty current drinking. Rich aftertaste and a fine finish. Not a port which will hold for many years, but an enjoyable wine for now and the mid-term. 89/100. Drunk 25-Jun-14. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
