Gorgeous colour, ruby with notes of burnt orange. Very inviting on the nose, punchy and forward with ripe fruit, toffee and some nuts perhaps. Palate has the same in abundance, long aftertaste and good thick mouthfeel. Grade A port. 93 points.

Mature red in colour with a firm rose rim, 50% opaque. Showing little on the nose (probably in need of more time in the decanter), just some faint loganberry. Very smooth entry; soft, round fruit dominates the entry and comes with a gorgeous velvet texture. Astonishing development on the late palate, bringing an explosion of flavours of fruit, tannin and a great rose-hip. Wow! What a fabulous aftertaste - a mass of dark chocolate and cocoa flavours. Great, mature port. 94/100. Drunk 29 July 2014. Decanted 3½ hours.

40% opacity, pinky red-orange. Not much on the nose (blank space on tasting sheet...). Smooth entry, gently builds from fruit to a little spice and then a long chewy sweet aftertaste. Incorrectly guessed to be G77. No idea why I guessed that...spice would not be consistent with that.
