1964 Taylor Single Harvest Tawny
At the request of Glenn E., passing through London on the way to Porto, an evening of port tasting with the theme "Variety is the Spice of Life". With TBH closed for refurbishment, this was held at Davy’s at Woolgate Bar and Brasserie where we were looked after very well.

Bottled 2014.
20% opacity, burnt caramel, slightly cloudy. Muted nose, hints of melon. Very balanced and even in the mouth, little acidity, citrus fruits. Up against the Dalva 52 and the Pocas 64, this was my least preferred. It really didn't stand out in any way. Nothing wrong or faulty, but just sort of OK.

copper red colour, some marzipan and a little bit of varnish in the nose, in the mouth some marzipan and a little bit of varnish, a rather short finish with marzipan and a little bit of varnish, nice, but the Pocas was better
