RP60 decanted 16:45. Cork crumbled; port is pale orange, 15% opaque. I suspect a duffer.

RP60, decanted 16:45. Pale orange, 20% opaque.

Something in this bottle’s past had gone wrong. Palate horrible, with toothpaste.

Decanted 2 hours. 20% opacity misty cloudy amber, like cloudy cider. Very odd nose, like a colheita almost, quite lively and an orangey edge. In the mouth, marmalade orange, sweet and sticky, massive long finish. massively syrupy.
Not right as a VP, but interesting to drink nonetheless, and not disagreeable. Just not VP as we know it.

Cloudy, orange, 15%. It even smelled cloudy; not musty but dusty. And yet, it has a great mouth, very orangey, silky soft.

Hazy appearance and a surprising green tint to the rim, an appearance that implies a spoiled bottle - amber in colour, 15% opaque. Toffee on the torrefacted nose, underneath this is antiseptic and rosemary that shows an oxidised bottle. Caramel comes through on entry, then a strong compensating ripe citrus acidity. Slightly oxidised but with more complexity than expected from the appearance. Pleasant and enjoyable coffee finish with a hint of spirit. Pleasant enough, but aged beyond expectation. 84/100. Drunk 21-Oct-14. Decanted 3½ hours.
