NV Graham Tawny 10YO (bottled 2014)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2014. Brick red colour, 80% opaque. A touch of VA and petrol on the nose. Sweet and enveloping entry with a nice texture. A good flavour profile with sweet dates and walnuts combining with a lovely acidity that together balance a floral burst on the aftertaste. Good date flavours and a hint of walnut skin tannins on the back of the teeth on the finish. Thick, sweet and comforting fireside port. 88/100. Drunk 04-Nov-14.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
