1990 Factory House Blend

1990 Factory House Bicentennial Blend

Deep red in colour, mature looking. Slight heat on the nose but also with red cherries and spices, an attractive combination. Smooth in texture, silky and elegant. Lovely mature fruit but with a slight dryness to the tannins and palate. Gorgeous sweet fruity finish of great length, lingering and lovely. Very tasty and lovely port with a fine elegance. Served blind this was guessed to be Offley '66. 90/100. Drunk 26-Sep-14. Decanting time N/K.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
