Honey brown colour, 30% opaque. Medicinal, oxidised nose of rosemary oil. Lovely thick texture with a good intensity of flavour but totally tertiary - lots of dried fruit, golden sultanas and nuts with a lovely acidity. This grows and becomes very intense while on the palate. Gentle coffee and a lot of heat on the aftertaste but coffee and Fisherman's Friends on the long finish that is surprisingly intense. A mature port that is on a slow decline. 90/100. Drunk 24-Sep-14. Decanted 5 hours.
