Late bottled, according to the label. Golden brown in colour, 10% opaque. Slightly oxidised and medicinal on the nose, Reluctant and watery on the palate, eventually showing to be soft and evolved, very tertiary and tawny. Late on the palate there was some welcome lively pepperiness and sweetness. Modest on the aftertaste, floral and gentle, but this led to a good finish of burnt sugar. Pleasant but light drinking. 85/100. Drunk 24-Sep-14. Decanted 5 hours.
