1975 Graham

Drunk at Quinta de Vale d'Agodinho with Oscar and Claudia Quevedo, Luis Sottomayor and Rob Coombes. From magnum. Dark burnt orange colour, 40% opaque. Lovely nose of mature fruit with an interesting mineral streak. Slightly sharp entry, a touch dry but with a good palate presence and generous acidity. Fully mature with flavours dominated by bitter-sweet oranges. Some heat on the aftertaste, then a peppery finish of good length. Enjoyable port, now at its peak. 89/100. Drunk 23-Sep-14. Decant N/K.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
