From a half bottle with a label stating it was imported by Premium Port Wines. Red cedar in colour, quite light in pigmentation; 40% opaque and darker now that when first decanted. Raisins and brown sugar on the nose, with a slight hint of bottle stink. On the palate this leads with sweetened rhubarb acidity and an unattractive burnt sugar. Unpleasantly bitter on the late palate. Fiery on the aftertaste, showing unalloyed brandy, followed by a dry finish of burnt sugar and powdery icing but good length. Well past its best and now tertiary and simple. 81/100. Drunk 15-Nov-14. Decanted 16 hours.
