2014 Quinta do Vesuvio

An experimental and early blend from the previous two blends (being Sousao + Alicante Bouschet and Sousao +Touriga Nacional). Wonderful balance and poise, generous perfumed fruit and terrific structure. If winemakers and their accountants look to make vintage port from grapes picked before the rain these could be very good indeed. NR. Drunk 22-Sep-14.
