Mz22. Orange-brown, 20% opaque. Nose had brown sugar and some varnish. Palate soft and light, with a faint hint of the same varnish. Long past prime, but ageing gracefully.

Mid-light chestnut / walnut - pinky-orange, only about 10% opaque. The nose had light varnish and some raspberries. This was really juicy, lovely and light with a long finish of spice and heat. Slightly too peppery.

20% opacity, brown-orange. Very sharp nose, bit of varnish. Oily mouthfeel, sweetness early on the palate, a little thin but syrupy nonetheless. Quick to a spirituous finish.
An hour later, the nose had improved considerably to a much more rich honeycomb.

Deep orange, mature; 30%. Wonderful orange concentrate and hibiscus on the nose, very expressive with some savoury notes. Later there was a slight dustiness to the nose but it was still delicious and attractive. A lovely texture with a gentle spiciness to the palate, with concentrated orange and floral perfume. Lovely concentration and great balance. A slight harshness to the aftertaste, then a delightful spiciness. A long lasting finish of sweet orange zest. 92/100.
