Mz48. Red, 40% opaque. Nose very faint. Palate soft, zero fruit, more grape-pip bitterness. Not quite right, diagnosed by others as TCA.

This had a nasty nose and in the mouth fruit gave way very quickly to cardboard.

30% opacity, warm burnt orange. Bananas on the nose, plus wet cardboard and damp wood, TCA. In the mouth, hot and spiritous.

Deep red with rusty brown tone, 50%. Badly corked. NR.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
