Mz70. Glorious red, 50% opaque. Palate quite dry, red cherry behind. Small heat, and a faint ending. Pleasant, but a port of this vintage should be bigger and fuller.

40%, red brown. Nose quite sharp. Smooth in the mouth, sweet, not a huge finish...

Medium red colour, with some bricking; 50% opaque. Lovely rich redcurrant jelly on the nose, delicious and attractive. Medium bodied, full of fruit flavour on impact and on the mid-palate. The late palate is more dry with a surprising presence of tannins giving a good structural presence. Heat and acidity on the aftertaste, which take a long time to settle down but eventually deliver a big, long and slightly bitter aftertaste and finish. 92/100.
