Graham seems to be a popular choice to open to see in the new year.

This was bottled by Corney & Barrow in 1965. Bronzed red colour, 50% opaque. Full of cracked pepper and dust on the nose. Gentle pepper on the palate, sweet and concentrated and slightly bitter core. Powerful and punchy. Big aniseed and red licorice aftertaste, massive length to the finish. Very impressive palate but an odd nose. 91/100. Drunk 31 Dec 2014 with 10 hour decant.

This is indeed an excellent bottle - deliciously sweet, concentrated and with a wonderful thick viscous texture. A very nice way to end 2014.
